Residents’ Association councillors have been informed that the bottle banks and other recycling banks in the Front Lane car park adjacent to the railway sidings, are currently out of service, as the car park barrier is broken and the contractor is unable to gain access to the recycling area.

The barrier is due to be repaired next week (w/c 23 May 2022) and the recycling area brought back into use.

We would ask residents to refrain from leaving any items at this location while it is closed. The other nearest recycling bins are at Hoppy Hall car park (behind the petrol garage in Corbets Tey Road) and in Wilson Road (opposite car park at rear of Aldi).
