With reference to our post from yesterday (30 June), it has now been confirmed that the outline planning application to build 37 homes on the Hall Lane Mini Golf site will go before Havering Council’s Strategic Planning Committee on Thursday 09 July.

The meeting commences at 7pm and, due to present restrictions, will be held online. Anyone who wishes to view it live should use the Council meeting videos link.

It will come as no surprise to those who have campaigned to save the mini golf site, that the recommendation to the committee is to approve outline planning permission. All three of Cranham’s  Residents Association councillors intend to speak on the night against approval of the application and there is an opportunity for members of the public who have made previous written representations to speak, although numbers will be limited. If you wish to do so you must call Havering Council on 01708 433 100 by Tuesday 07 July.
