Havering Council have launched an online public petition, to call for the Government to recognise that Havering has changed in the make-up of its population, with many more younger and older people now residing than when the present Funding Formula was set in 2010, and the current Funding Formula unfairly disadvantages our borough.

In addition, the Revenue Support Grant, which is the actual money Havering receives from Central Government each financial year, has been cut from £70 million to £2m during the same period.
