Havering Council response to London City Airport proposals
Havering Council have published their formal response letter to the current London City Airport proposals to expand and change the way that flights are operated from the airport. In the letter, Havering Council strongly objects to the proposals, due to the adverse effect that it would have on the borough.

Thank goodness they are strongly objecting… with the current level of aircraft it’s rare I sit in my garden and hear the birds instead of jet engines. I strongly object to any increase and believe the flights out of London City could follow a better flight path over a less populated area rather than over Upminster and Cranham
