Havering libraries are inviting residents to take part in their annual Poetry Day Competition. Original poetry entries are welcome from all ages, before the closing date of 14 November 2026, on the theme of ‘Wonder: Plants and Pollinators’.

Simply hand your poem in at any Havering library or email haveringlibrariescompetitions@havering.gov.uk with your name, age and Havering library card number.

Winners will have their poems displayed in Borough libraries and will receive a poetry book prize.
