Land of the Fanns 100 Stories Project
The Land of the Fanns (who are part of the Thames Chase Trust) have come together with Kinetika, a Purfleet based arts organisation, to create a Community Mapping project.
They are looking for local people and communities to identify and celebrate 100 Stories gathered in response to the different Landscape Character Areas within the Land of the Fanns (which includes Havering).
In March and April 2020 there will be free creative workshops in film-making and the silk painting process known as batik, to create 100 silk flags. The culmination of the work on the stories and flags will be the Walking Arts Festival being planned for May/June 2020.
