Following an earlier consultation in late 2016 on the proposed scheme to improve the flow of traffic at the Brook Street Roundabout (M25/A12 – junction 28), the delayed Stage 2 consultation is now set to take place later this year. Dates for the 6-week consultation will be released before the end of August.

The works, expecting to cost up to £100m, are not expected to start until April 2020 by which time the hugely disruptive works on the Ardleigh Green Bridge (A127) should be complete (we hope!).
