New Lower Thames Crossing – Supplementary Consultation starts 29 January
Highways England have informed us that a Supplementary Consultation on the proposed new Lower Thames Crossing will be launched on Wednesday 29 January and will run for eight weeks until Wednesday 25 March.
The consultation will be specifically for changes to the scheme design, following the Section 42 consultation that was held last year and discussions Highways England have had with stakeholders.
Highways England will be holding a consultation event and two public information events in Upminster (see below), as well as having consultation documents available in Romford Library.
Consultation Event (With Highways England staff available to answer questions):
Saturday 22 February midday-6pm – New Windmill Hall, St Mary’s Lane, Upminster
Mobile Information Events:
Friday 28 February Midday-5pm – Thames Chase Forest Centre, Pike Lane, Upminster
Thursday 19 March 10am-7pm – Upminster Library, 26 Corbets Tey Road, Upminster
