North Ockendon is launching a flag design competition, and the organisers want local people to help represent the village’s identity, heritage and future in a bold new flag.

Anyone can enter — all ages and skill levels welcome but you need to live in Upminster, Cranham, North Ockendon or Corbets Tey.

The winning design will become the official flag of North Ockendon and should be entered onto the official UK Flag Registry.
