Planning application in St. Mary’s Lane for Battery Energy Storage System

A planning application has been submitted to Havering Council for the construction, operation and maintenance of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with associated infrastructure and works including highway access, landscaping and biodiversity enhancements. The site is on land adjacent to St. Mary’s Lane, Upminster RM14 3PA.

This application has been expected for some time and has attracted considerable local interest. Upminster Ward Councillors will be viewing the application in detail, before commenting on it.
