Transport for London (TfL) are currently holding a consultation into proposals for a new express bus service in north-east London, called SL2.

Local Residents’ Association councillors are extremely unhappy at the proposals, as the route does not come anywhere near us (it would run from Walthamstow to North Woolwich) and would therefore be of no benefit to the residents of Havering, at a time when TfL are about to introduce the controversial ULEZ scheme.

The transport network in inner and semi-inner boroughs is already far superior to what we have locally and we once again appear to be being neglected by TfL.
