Tree Planting at Hole Farm, Great Warley

Forestry England have been working hard to bring their vision for Hole Farm Community Woodland to life at Great Warley. Over 80,000 trees have now been planted on the site, including species such as black poplar, oak, hazel and hornbeam.

Forestry England have another 90,000 trees to plant in winter 2024/5 and have been promoting a community planting day on Saturday 09 November 2024

Two planting sessions are available (10am-12:30pm and 12:30pm-3pm) and people are welcome to stay for both. Refreshments and hot drinks will be provided.
