UCRA Christmas Event – Friday 22 November 2024

Please join us from 3.30pm to 6pm on Friday 22 November 2024 for the annual Upminster Christmas Event in the centre of Upminster.

This year the event is mostly being funded by the Upminster & Cranham Residents’ Association, following the Council’s decision not to support Christmas events borough-wide.

We are very privileged and pleased to say that the Association has been provided with a substantial amount of sponsorship by Griffin Estates, one of our local estate agents in Station Road. This sponsorship has enabled us to provide a full sized Christmas tree and lights. All other costs are being borne by the Association, including full street-column festive lighting, as in previous years.

The Mayor, Cllr Gerry O’Sullivan, will be joining us as our Christmas Tree lights are switched on. As we have had for many years, fairground rides will be at Upminster Junior School and Bedrock Radio will also be joining us. We will have a choir led by Upminster Baptist church at a location in the town centre.
