On 03 March 2026, Cranham Ward Councillors Gillian Ford, John Tyler, Upminster Ward Councillor Oscar Ford and Lesley Tyler (Cranham Ward Team Member) carried out a litter pick at the top of Front Lane near to the A127. We collected an amazing amount of rubbish totalling 10 bags.

Apart from the usual type of litter some of the items we picked up included large canisters, a coat, shoes and a cuddly toy. Our session made a real difference to the appearance of the area.
