Upminster Baptist Church Men’s Shed
The Upminster Baptist Church Men’s Shed is a collaborative workspace where men can work on practical projects and share in their hobbies with others. Men are welcome from anywhere in Havering. The idea draws on the successful Men’s Shed movement in Australia where nearly 1000 sheds have opened since 2007. UBC Men’s Shed is part of a growing movement and joins of one of the hundreds of Men’s Shed’s that currently exist in the UK.
Their new meeting day is every Wednesday from 1 – 4:40pm at Upminster Baptist Church, 1 Springfield Gardens, Upminster, RM14 3HE
Their shed is equipped with tools and materials that have been generously donated by the public and local rotary. They are mainly a woodworking community although they are happy to try their hand at almost anything. You can drop in anytime the shed is operating, so why not stop by for a look around and a decent cuppa; They would love to have you working alongside them.

Hi, I was wondering if you guys would be willing to make us some new games for our Christmas Bazaar. My dad usually makes them but this year he’s not available.
We are a small but mighty pta that raises money for Branfil Primary School. Our Bazaar is on the 7th December and we would really like something fresh that the children will love. If this is something you guys can help with I could send some photos or call in before I pick my kids up.
Dear Chantelle,
Please contact the Men’s Shed direct via the contact details above.
Kind regards
Cllr John Tyler
