I am pleased to announce that the Upminster War Memorial has been awarded Grade II Listed Building status.

Following council funded refurbishments works a while back, the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport has decided to add the building, located in Corbets Tey Road, to the national list of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest.
