Come along to Upminster Windmill’s Family Fun Weekend from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July 2025.

The windmill’s sails will be turning, subject to the weather, with games and activities for all the family, including a Teddy Bear Zip Wire and Name the Bear. As an added treat on Saturday 12, there will be live music from the Ukeleles of Broken Biscuit and Out of the Blue

Bring a Teddy Bears’ picnic – refreshments are available!

Windmill tours are available both days – Adults £6, Children £2 (Minimum height 100cm). Closed in footwear is required. Entry is free to the site, the garden and the visitor centre

The Garden and the Visitor Centre will also be open on Wednesday 30 July 2025 from 11am to 3pm, where you can learn about how the windmill was restored to full working order and relax with tea/coffee and a cake in the garden.
