The Arts Society, Havering  will be holding their latest lecture on Tuesday 12 May 2026 in the New Windmill Hall, St. Mary’s Lane, Upminster RM14 2QH, starting at 10.15 am.

The lecture is titled Mirror Image: Elizabeth Vigée-Le Brun in Paint and Prose by Alison Barker. Elisabeth Vigée-Le Brun was an eighteenth century artist, painting the aristocracy of France during the Revolution and in the shadow of the Guillotine.

The lecture is open to visitors for a fee of £8:00.
