Calling all young astronomers!

Havering Astronomical Society caters for Young Astronomers (as well as adults!).

Young Astronomer meetings are held at Thames Chase Forest Centre, Upminster on the last Thursday of each month (except August) at 7pm.

Ages 8-16 are welcome to join. If your children have ever wondered about the night sky, black holes, astronauts or anything space related, this is the place to find answers and spark their curiosity. Meetings are fun, with a range of talks and activities, and the opportunity to carry out observing when the skies are clear.

We also have an annual outing to a place of astronomical interest. These visits are made possible through the kind donation made by Ian Ridgley and family in memory of Frances Ridgley, late Society founder member and long-time Society Secretary.

For details, please see www.havastro.co.uk/young-astronomers (this includes photos and reports of recent meetings), or e-mail: young.astronomers@havastro.co.uk . New members are always welcome!
