We have been asked by the Friends of Parklands to pass on the following message – 

Friends of Parklands are seeking volunteers to help at our monthly working parties. We meet in the car park at Parklands at 10am on the second Wednesday of every month. If you need a bit of exercise please come along. All tools are provided and you can do as much, or as little, as you want.

If you use Parklands but prefer to let others do the work, you can still support our efforts by becoming a member. The annual subscription is just £5. No obligations. No perks. Just the satisfaction that you are helping to preserve one of the most pleasant open spaces in Upminster.

New members can join by paying the subscription to our treasurer, Andrew Griffiths, at 10 Parkland Avenue (cash or a cheque made payable to Friends of Parklands). Please ensure that you also include contact details. Donations, anonymously or otherwise, will also be gratefully accepted!
