All Saints Players – Playing to our Community
Fresh from their successful run of their Pantomime, Mother Goose, the All Saints’ Players are committed to entertaining us all.
The Players have been performing for 57 years. Their ages range from 18-92. Regulars, Steve and Jennie, have been Players for 17 years. They joined after seeing one of their shows. They have remained with the group as its great fun. They love being part of a community and, like the rest of the group, greatly benefit socially from being a member.
The ‘Players’ are self-funded from ticket sales and members subs. Members of the group design, generate the amazing stage sets and make and supply the costumes themselves. They produce three performances a year, January, May and September, mostly comedies. They not only love the audience participation but get amongst the audience too!
New members are always welcome, with or without acting experience. If you are 18 or over and interested in drama, there are many things to get involved with – acting, backstage jobs, creating the set, painting, costumes, or simply helping with Front of House.
All Saints’ Players meet every Thursday at 8pm at All Saints’ Church Hall, Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch, RM11 2LG. For information about the group and news of future productions, visit their website at allsaintsplayers.org.uk or contact enquiries@allsaintsplayers.org.uk .
