Our local police have advised that individuals are approaching car park users, informing them of issues to the free parking system and stating the necessity to re-enter the vehicle registration on the meter and use a payment card. This appears to be a scam.

If you are approached in a similar manner, please do report to the car park management. If you have been a victim of this scam, you should report to police via met.police.uk or call 101. Always use 999 in an emergency or if the suspect is still at location.
