Christmas in Cranham
Cranham will be celebrating Christmas this year with two Christmas Trees donated by the Residents’ Association – one in Avon Road the other at the junction of Moor Lane and Front Lane, kindly decorated by the Cranham Friends Association.
The Plough in Front Lane will be holding the big Christmas light up on Saturday 2nd at 6pm in preparation for the arrival of Father Christmas who will be found in his Grotto at 3pm-7pm on Saturday 9th and 16th and from 2pm-6pm on Sunday 10th, 17th. Other events will be taking place with proceeds going to The Rainbow Trust.
Frank Rivett and Sons will be providing mulled wine and mince pies in aid of Little Havens Hospice, on Friday 8th December with the help of ‘Tommy’ the pony.
Finally, the Mayor of Havering Councillor Linda Van Den Hende will be judging the 2017 best decorated shop interior or window display, in Avon Road and Cranham Village on the 8th December, presenting the winner with the prestigious winners’ Cup!
