Congratulations to our local football club, Hornchurch FC, who yesterday (27 February 2021) beat Darlington 2-1 away, to reach the semi finals of the FA Trophy for the first time ever. This was the fifth time that Hornchurch have beaten a side from a higher division in this season’s cup run.

They go into the draw for the semi finals with Notts County, Hereford and Woking, which will be made on Monday afternoon (01 March). The matches will be held on Saturday 27 March, with the winners progressing to the final, held at Wembley in May.
