The East London Waste Authority (ELWA), to which Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and Newham are members, is currently conducting a public consultation on its Draft Joint Strategy for East London’s Resources and Waste (2027-2057).

The draft strategy sets out how partner authorities will preserve resources by minimising waste, promoting resource efficiency and recycling, protecting the environment and reducing carbon emissions.
