The Havering Astronomical Society’s (HAS) meeting dates in May 2024 are as follows –

• Wednesday 15 May, 7.15 for 7.30pm – Dr Ashley King (of the Natural History Museum, London) will present a talk entitled ‘To Bennu & Back: what asteroids can tell us about the origins of the Solar System’.
• Thursday 30 May, 7 to 8pm – Young Astronomers (aged 8-16) This is a mix of space news, talks, activities and observing when possible. Please contact young.astronomers@havastro.co.uk for further details.
