Havering Astronomical Society will, as usual, be holding two meetings in September 2024.

Wednesday 18 September, 7.15 for 7.30pm – Dr Lee Macdonald, historian of science, will present a talk entitled ‘Refugees, star clusters and relativity: astronomy at Greenwich Observatory during the First World War’.

Their Young Astronomers (aged 8-16) group meets monthly. These events are a mix of space news, talks, activities and observing when possible. Please contact young.astronomers@havastro.co.uk for further details.
