Havering Singing for the Brain 2020 at the Cranham Community Centre

Havering Singing for The Brain 2020 (HS4B) are launching a new weekly musical and social group for people living with dementia and their carers from Monday 26 July 2-4pm at the Cranham Community Centre, 115A Marlborough Gardens, Upminster RM14 1SR.

The HS4B team are looking forward to welcoming new members to enjoy live music, singing and dancing or just a friendly chat. The groups are very enjoyable and also give an opportunity to share experiences and seek advice about the dementia journey.

Each session costs £5 per person including refreshments. The first session is free for new members. Working carers attending with their patient are not charged. Attendees are required to have had both Covid vaccinations and asked to provide evidence on their first visit. The little blue card will suffice.

Other HS4B groups are running on Wednesdays, 10.30am – 1.00pm at St Michael’s Church, Main Road, Gidea Park, Romford, RM2 5EL, and Thursdays, 2.00 – 4.00pm at St John’s Church, South End Road, Rainham, RM13 7XT. New members are very welcome.

Contact details for anyone attending the first time can be found on HS4B’s website or you can get involved on their HS4B Facebook page.
