IOPC publishes Outcome Reports

The issue of police conduct is often highlighted in the press, TV and online. Like many other stories, the coverage given is not always subjective and can easily lead to misinformation being widely circulated. However, whenever allegations of misconduct are made against officers, these can be referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

The IOPC has just published two Outcomes Reports, for 2018/19 and 2019/20. These reports cover the decisions made at the end of IOPC investigations, as well as the outcomes of any proceedings that followed.

For further information on the work of the IOPC and to view the two reports, visit the Outcomes Reports 2018/19 and 2019/20 webpage.
