One Million Mentors is a community-based, mentoring system with the aim to transform our society by connecting one million young people with one million opportunities.

They recruit and train volunteers to be mentors and then connect them with young people aged 14-25 years old, mostly via schools or youth groups. Their 1:1 mentoring sessions are for one hour, once a month, a mixture of face-to-face and online.

They value having mentors from diverse backgrounds and with a range of lived experiences. Their only requirements are to have five years work experience (or two years post-grad) and a passion for supporting young people – no prior mentoring experience is needed.
