Everyone is feeling the effects of the increases in household bills at the moment, particularly heating and vehicle fuel.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has a personal inflation calculator, that allows people to estimate how much their monthly spending has increased in the last twelve months, show how it compares with previous years and identify which items are contributing most to their cost-of-living increases.
