Havering Council have informed us that part of the B186 Ockendon Road will be closed for the laying of fibre optic cables on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November 2023, from 9am to 6pm.

Confusingly, B186 Ockendon Road will be closed from its junction with B1421 Ockendon Road (opposite White Post Farm) to the junction with Fen Lane.

This will mean that anyone travelling to or from the Lakeside area via Clay Tye Road etc. will need to seek an alternative route.
