PayPal scam using compromised Facebook accounts

The City of London Police have released a message, warning the public of a surge of reports where the recipient has received messages through Facebook Messenger from friends/family requesting to use their Pay Pal account to receive funds from the sale of a camera (or similar item) on EBay. However, this is a scam, using compromised Facebook Messenger accounts.
