Over six hundred people rallied around the Upminster War Memorial this morning to join the many other services across the borough and country in marking Remembrance Sunday.

A parade from the British Legion Club in St Mary’s Lane joined up with many hundreds at the Upminster War Memorial to observe a service conducted by the Revd. Susannah Brasier of St Laurence Church and the laying of wreaths from local community groups, Council, cadets, voluntary groups, British Legion, military, scouts,  cubs, girl guides and brownies, and many other local groups and organisations.
