Met Police’s Annual Christmas Tree Appeal
The Metropolitan Police has launched its annual appeal for the public to donate Christmas presents to thousands of vulnerable and disadvantaged children across London.
Working with the charity The Childhood Trust, Met ‘elves’ will deliver the presents funded by the public to children who might otherwise go without, in time for Christmas Day. Since the campaign first launched in 2011, communities have helped provide 133,645 presents to children to open on Christmas morning!
This year’s campaign is fronted by a fabulous poster drawn by seven-year-old Angelique Bass, from St Barnabas’ Church of England Primary School in Pimlico. Want to spread some Christmas cheer? Please help us by purchasing a gift or donating via the website www.metchristmastreeappeal2022.org .
Thank you to everyone who has donated. Your generous contributions have been invaluable in supporting vulnerable children across London!
