We receive many requests for yellow lines (single and double) to be installed in the area in order to promote road safety for pedestrians and motorists alike.

However, while many of the schemes have been provisionally agreed the actual implementation can be a lengthy practice as it needs to go through extensive public consultation and legal processes.

For some locations in Cranham, for example extending restrictions on the bend in Front Lane opposite the Social Centre, extending junction protection at the Kings Gardens/Front Lane junction, Marlborough Gardens/Marlborough Close, opp. Helford Way, Esdaile Gardens and installing double yellow lines outside the short stretch of Avon Road outside Golden Crane pub, these are all in progress and will be implemented as soon as possible.
